American Marketing Association Houston Chapter - Official Marketer of the Year Ballot

Rules for AMA Houston's Marketer of the Year (MOTY):

VOTING: Only current AMA Houston members and invited members of the local judging panel may vote for MOTY Best of Category winners. Members and judges may submit one ballot and may vote for one company, organization or institution (firm) in each category. To ensure balloting integrity, the voter's name, company, telephone and email address must be provided where requested, prior to voting.

SCORING: Scores from member votes and scores from the judging panel members will be combined and given equal weight. The overall top score in each category will be announced as the Best of Category winner and will be honored and presented with a trophy at the Marketer of the Year event. These Best of Category winners will be contacted and asked to submit more detailed information on their marketing challenges, programs and results. A group of marketing leaders from outside the Houston area will review information submitted by the Best of Category winners and select Houston's 2012 Marketer of the Year.

EVENT: The Marketer of the Year event will be held at the Alley Theatre on March 18, 2013, beginning with a reception at 5:30PM. The Best of Category winners will be honored, and the 2012 Marketer of the Year will be announced during the event. Event tickets will be available online in January. For tickets, go to www.amahouston.org, then to Events, Marketer of the Year for the link.

Any failure to meet the stated criteria or any violation of the rules will subject the nominee and/or ballot to disqualification by the MOTY committee. Decisions of the MOTY committee are final.

Questions about the MOTY event may be directed to Susannah Griffin, smg815@comcast.net, or Matt Ross, matt@venturesmarketing.com.
