Introduction

Integrated Offender Management (IOM) Cymru, YJB Cymru, the Welsh Government and Clinks are seeking the views of young adult (16-24 years old) service users in the Criminal Justice System to inform us as to how services could be improved. This partnership has a specific focus on how IOM arrangements can better work with and support this age range. The views of these young adults will help shape a Wales-wide strategy, helping us to understand how young adult services need to change as well as what new services should be designed.

How to conduct this survey

Below are a set of questions which we would like you to ask your service users. It is not important that you answer all the questions, you can ask just one or two depending on the time your service users have to spare. If possible try to ask the questions within existing service user forums or group sessions.

Confidentiality

We ask that you identify who has undertaken the interview but please keep the service user’s identities anonymous to protect them and ensure confidentiality is maintained.

Feedback

We have designed this simple online template for you to put feedback into. Please collate the feedback you receive and submit it all at once rather than entering each individual account.

Deadline for responses

Please submit any responses before or on 9th August 2013.
