Wicker Park Bucktown Special Service Area #33
A Special Service Area (SSA) is an additional property tax levy on properties in the SSA district. WPB SSA #33 has a mission to support and develop the local economy and bolster the quality of life by maintaining a clean, vibrant and accessible SSA district. A volunteer Commission of SSA taxpayers oversees the funding of such services as sidewalk snowplowing, sidewalk cleaning and garbage pick-up, arts programming, transportation projects and community grants.
