Northern, Eastern and Western (NEW) Devon and South Devon and Torbay (SD&T) Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) are the local NHS organisations responsible for buying maternity services in Devon, Plymouth and Torbay. These responsibilities transferred from primary care trusts in April 2013 and now both CCGs would like to look at what improvements may need to be made to maternity services as part of their future planning. We are keen to hear from people who have recent experience of maternity services or having a baby (in the last 2 years) who would be happy to share their feed back with us.

For information, the maternity services we are talking about are the following:

Before pregnancy – GP, Public Health, Screening
During pregnancy – GP, hospital units, midwives, consultants, health visitors, children’s centres
During birth – Midwives, consultants, hospital
After birth – Midwives, health visitors, GP, children’s centres
