The National Conference on Volunteering and Service will convene in New Orleans June 6 - 8, 2011. Points of Light Institute and the Corporation for National and Community Service are pleased to announce that a limited number of registration scholarships are available to national and international nonprofit and service organizations.
Convened by Points of Light Institute and the Corporation for National and Community Service, this annual event provides attendees with an opportunity to learn, connect and be inspired to shape the future of service and volunteering through exciting and informative plenary sessions, special events, interactive workshops, service projects, specialized tracks and more.
We encourage and invite diverse community members of all ages to apply for registration scholarships. Scholarships will cover the conference registration fee only. Scholarship recipients will be responsible for additional expenses including travel, hotel accommodations and meals. It is important that the applicant and organization determine if they can cover these additional conference expenses prior to applying. We kindly ask that organizations apply for assistance only after they have exhausted all avenues of local fundraising. Upon receipt of your application, the Scholarship Committee will review, and selections will be made based on greatest need.
