Pedigree Shelter Volunteer Application -- Humane Society of Indianapolis

We need your help to improve day-to-day operations by identifying and executing needed beautification and improvement projects.

We will be painting, landscaping, repairing kennels, making dog beds, and more. You don’t need any special skills – we will have staff on hand to train you on the projects – you just need a desire to help animals!

We’ll send you more information on what to wear, what to bring, and where to be after we receive your application. Thank you for helping animals in your community!

Your time and effort will help your shelter make the most of this grant. Giving the shelter one day of your time will make the money stretch so much further.

Your day will likely start at 8:30am and end at 5:00pm with a break for lunch.

You may be completing tasks such as painting, building benches or shelves, doing simple landscaping, building raised dog beds or toys, or a variety of other tasks. No previous building or landscaping experience is required. Lunch will be provided.

If you have special dietary restrictions please bring your own sack lunch.
