 Sharing Experiences in the Design and
Implementation of Green Building Codes

Welcome! The Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) and Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) are proud to host the next chapter of cooperation on green building standards issues - a workshop on Sharing Experiences in the Design and Implementation of Green Building Codes scheduled for March 5-7, 2013 in Lima, Peru.

This workshop is a joint-APEC and ASEAN activity that seeks to bring together 24 economies and up to 200 participants from the Asia Pacific Region to promote sustainable building practices and application of green building codes and strengthen the partnerships between economies. Both public and private sectors will come together to discuss the opportunities and challenges of developing and implementing building codes and green codes in the Asia-Pacific region, including their experiences with the development and implementation of green building codes and efforts to gain acceptance of such codes across the entire Asia-Pacific region. In fact, the workshop delegates are strongly encouraged to share their economies’ experiences and best practices with green building codes, standards, and rating systems.
