This survey should take less than 5 minutes. It is being sent to all Vermont school principals on behalf of the American Heart Association and statewide obesity coalitions Eat Well Play More Vermont and Live Healthy Vermont.

58% of Vermont adults and 27% of our kids are overweight or obese. We can help address obesity by opening our schools’ facilities and grounds to communities for recreational activities.

The purpose of this survey is to understand and address the possible barriers that may be preventing schools from opening up their buildings and grounds to the public for recreational-use during non-school hours. No individual school's data will be reported publically.
