1. Welcome to the Economic Impact Survey!
PLEASE READ THESE DIRECTIONS BEFORE BEGINNING THE SURVEY.
Thank you for taking the time to fill out this survey. Your responses to this survey are perhaps the most important input you will give all year--results will be given to the General Assembly at our first ever Virginia Museum Advocacy Day, to underline the important role museums play in the economy of the state of Virginia.
For all questions, we are interested in figures from your most recently completed financial year--fy 2010 if you are on the fiscal year, and calendar year 2009 if you follow a calendar year. In order to be able to quickly answer all the questions on this survey, it is recommended that you have a copy of your budget, volunteer records, and visitation numbers handy while filling it out. If you don't have these, but have a fair estimate of basic numbers, please go ahead and fill this out with those estimates.
All of your responses are anonymous. While we ask the name of your institution, your responses will not be tied to that institution name and cannot be traced. Please be as honest as possible, as these figures will serve as the basis of our report to the General Assembly.
