You are invited to participate in research which involves an online questionnaire which will help determine information technology (IT) practices and trends in organizations around the globe. This research has been underway for over 30 years. Each year the Society for Information Management, CIONet, and other leading management associations conducts a survey to gauge and benchmark trends within the IT industry. Please take about twenty minutes of your time to complete the survey below. Your responses will help us understand important IT management considerations including key investments, concerns, staffing/sourcing, salaries, and job scope of IT professionals. All information that you provide will be aggregated and individual responses will be kept confidential. You will receive a summary report in exchange for your contribution.

Risks/Discomforts/Confidentiality
There are no foreseeable risks involved in this study for the participants. All information will remain confidential. The study data will only be used for research and publication purposes, and only aggregates and summaries will ever be published. Purpose and Benefits
The purpose of the study is to understand and benchmark the important trends in IT management including areas such as investments, concerns, sourcing/staffing, salaries, and the job activities of IT professionals.

This survey is conducted under the supervision of a global team including prominent management associations working with Jerry Luftman Ph.D., from the Global Institute for IT Management.
