2013 Scholarship Application

1. Together for Children Conference on Child Abuse and Neglect

 
Thanks to the sponsorships by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction, Child Advocacy Center of WI, Child Abuse Prevention Fund, Children’s Trust Fund, Department of Children and Families, Wisconsin Department of Justice-Children's Justice Act Program and Greg and Mary Ann Renz, scholarships are available for the Together for Children Conference. These scholarships allow the opportunity for a variety of professionals to attend the conference who otherwise would be unable to do so.

For 2013, we are offering three different types of scholarships. A full conference scholarship, covering the registration fee to attend both days of the conference,a partial scholarship, covering the registration fee for a single day of the conference, and a preconference scholarship, covering the registration fee to attend the full preconference day.

Scholarships will be chosen based on the application submitted,so please be thorough and complete. Please note that scholarship recipients may be asked to assist in monitoring workshops for which they are registered.

Please go to the next page and complete the information requested. Scholarship applications must be received by February 22, 2013 to be considered. Scholarship recipients will be contacted via email by March 8, 2013. Scholarship recipients must register for the conference before April 9, 2013 in order to claim their scholarship, or the recipient will be responsible for payment of the late registration fee. Please note, if the scholarship recipient needs overnight accommodations, they must contact the Grand Geneva Resort directly at (800) 558-3417 and book their hotel room before the room block expires on April 9, 2013. You must mention the Together for Children Conference when registering, to receive the discounted room rate of $70 single, $110 double. The scholarship recipient is responsible for the cost of their hotel room and expenses.
