In 2022, Ketchum Urban Renewal Agency (KURA) embarked on a Workforce Housing development at 1st Street and Washington Avenue in Ketchum. The proposed development would replace the current parking lot owned by KURA. Click here for more development information.

Public input
During a presentation in July 2024, members of the public requested that KURA include options for a public parking garage in addition to the workforce housing. Options were presented during a joint KURA and Ketchum City Council meeting on November 18, 2024. Public comments were taken, and the council and KURA board gave direction to move forward without the garage, due to cost concerns. Click here to view the proposal or watch the presentation.
