The Emerging Leaders Program (ELP) immerses lower division students (freshmen and sophomores) in a process of personal development that lays the foundation for the exploration of leadership. By actively engaging in this program, participants will:
1. Learn the various types/styles of leadership
2. Reflect on their optimal leadership/communication styles and how those styles impact their role as a student leader
3. Identify the necessary skills for maximizing leadership performance
