Introduction
This brief survey is an opportunity for you to share your thoughts and opinions on the future growth and development of the Town of West Point. Your feedback will be used by the Town’s staff, Planning Commission, and Town Council as they work to update the Comprehensive Plan.
What is a Comprehensive Plan?
The Comprehensive Plan is West Point’s guide for how the Town will grow and develop over the next 10-15 years. It shapes decisions about land use, public services like schools and parks, transportation, and environmental protection. In Virginia, every community is required to have a Comprehensive Plan and review it at least every five years for the Plan to remain current and responsive to the community’s needs.
