Summerlee - New Stories, New Audiences, Better Lives

Summerlee Museum of Scottish Industrial Life is a well-loved visitor attraction which for over 30 years has celebrated Scotland's national industrial heritage, locally, right in the heart of Coatbridge. Now, the Museum has exciting plans to redevelop its facilities and experiences in new and innovative ways and we need YOUR help to make this happen. These plans will focus on bringing new stories, new objects and new areas of our shared history to life for all of our communities to enjoy.

The purpose of this consultation is to gather your views on our early ideas for the redevelopment and of what these could look like as the project develops. We are keen to hear your thoughts, feelings and opinions on our plans and welcome all comments, as these will greatly inform the direction of the project. Your input will also be used to help us prepare a funding application to the Heritage Lottery Fund to secure the necessary funding to help bring our collective ideas to life.
