Resilient Butte: Supporting a healthy and prosperous future in Silver Bow County

Butte-Silver Bow, in partnership with the National Center for Appropriate Technology (NCAT) and Montana Tech University, seeks your input as we initiate a Sustainability and Resilience Plan for our community. This project seeks to understand climate trends and future projections, determine risks and opportunities, and develop solutions to strengthen community preparedness and resilience. The project also will identify economic development opportunities to build a clean energy economy through cost-saving energy efficiency and renewable energy projects.  Through a collaborative effort funded by the National Science Foundation, we will be developing a climate adaptation plan with the support of EcoAdapt, a nonprofit in Washington State, and Virginia Tech University.

The goal of this project is to support the health and prosperity of Butte-Silver Bow and our residents. We invite you to participate in a quick 10-minute survey to share your insights and experience. At the end of this survey, you may sign up to stay informed about this project and volunteer to serve on an advisory committee or working groups
