Thank you for your interest in the 2025 Foothills Area Health Education Center's (AHEC) Pathway to Med School program.
The Pathway to Med School Program aims to engage pre-med students from Georgia communities who are interested in becoming primary care physicians in family medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, or women's health. Participants are provided beneficial shadowing and research experience, instruction, and mentorships with the goal of strengthening their medical school acceptances and their eventual careers as future providers in the state.
Your online application places you one step closer to being a part of this enriching program. After completing the online application, you will need to submit a copy of your official transcript, via mail or email, no later than 5:00 P.M. on January 31, 2025. Only complete applications with accompanying official transcripts will be reviewed.
