Lawrence Outdoor Aquatic Center Major Renovation Project - Opinion Survey 3

The City of Lawrence is continuing to develop the Lawrence Outdoor Aquatic Center Major Renovation Project, addressing issues and identifying improvements. Once the process is complete, the City intends to have addressed maintenance concerns, provided new amenities, and expanded access to the aquatic facility with the addition of a splash pad. Nearly three decades have passed since the downtown outdoor aquatic center at 747 Kentucky Street was renovated. Major maintenance issues developed and pool design evolved during that time.

Use this survey through July 10, 2024, to comment on the preferred direction for the aquatic center. It is based on comments from the previous opinion surveys, public meetings, and findings from the pool's conditions assessment. You may also attend the June 26th public open house from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in the auditorium of the Lawrence Public Library (707 Vermont) to comment. No formal presentations will be given.
