Wayfinding Sign Concept Survey
The City is working in collaboration with Hunt Design to update our Wayfinding Signs. This is a very important project as the development of an overall Wayfinding philosophy and graphic standard can provide valuable information and communicate an organized and friendly city, without detracting from its visual beauty.
The Wayfinding Sign Program Goals are:
1. Direct and orient users to main destinations.
2. Guide first time visitors to destinations efficiently.
3. Get drivers parked near destinations and out of their cars to ease congestion.
4. Support circulation between destinations for all users (drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians).
5. Unify and refresh public signage throughout the City.
