We are seeking input from the public on Molly's Falls Pond (Marshfield Reservoir) regarding the recreational use of the reservoir, and the future park management and facility development of the lands surrounding the reservoir.
Your (and everyone’s) answers will be held in strict confidence, and only grouped and summarized together to assist in determining potential management strategies.
Your comments will be taken as recommendations and every effort will be made to include suggestions that are compatible with the purposes for which the property was purchased, with the Vermont Department of Forests, Parks & Recreation mission statement and management principles, and those that are fiscally realistic.
The Vermont Department of Forests, Parks & Recreation must make decisions about the public good, which span this and future generations. As a result, our public involvement process was not designed to institute "majority-rule" management of public land, but as a means to hear from you when weighing all input and considerations as a whole.
