The City of Maribyrnong is home to an eclectic range of businesses, with ABR data showing that there are over 9,000 registered businesses in our municipality. Our business community spans all industries and business owners come from a diverse range of backgrounds. Council recognises the significant contribution that our businesses make to our community and this survey is designed to help us get a better understanding of: What support our business community needs most in the short to mid-term; Perceptions around grants and funding; and Preferences for business training and networking opportunities. The results of this survey will help shape and inform Council’s business support program in line with priorities in the Council Plan 2021-25, and key findings will be shared with our local business community later in 2024.All data gathered in this survey will be aggregated and individual responses will remain anonymous.
