Survey of Hawaii's Commercial Avocado Supply

What is the purpose of this survey? How will it be used?

The purpose of this survey is to estimate the current supply of avocados grown commercially in Hawaii, including the types of cultivars (varieties) and growing elevations on each island. This information will assist local farmers, buyers, and agencies develop strategies to bolster Hawaii's avocado industry.

This survey is being conducted by Hawaii Farmers Union United (HFUU) and Hawaii Avocado Association (HAA) as part of a Hawaii Department of Agriculture (HDOA) Specialty Crop Product Promotion Grant FY 2020. Farmers and farm names will be kept anonymous and the results will be shared publicly.

Those who complete the survey will receive an option to register to win a $200 gift certificate to Home Depot.
