Comprehensive Plan Community Survey
Thank you for taking the time to complete this survey. The Town of Narragansett is updating its Comprehensive Plan, which will guide future growth, development, and preservation over the next 10 years, with a focus on maintaining the Town’s coastal character, natural resources, and quality of life.
Narragansett’s current plan, adopted in 2017, is being updated in accordance with Rhode Island requirements. As a coastal community, the Town faces unique challenges, including seasonal population changes, coastal resilience and sea level rise, housing affordability, and balancing tourism with year-round community needs. The Comprehensive Plan provides a framework for decisions related to land use, housing, economic development, infrastructure, and environmental protection and public input is an essential part of this process.
This survey will help guide decisions about land use, housing, open space, transportation, infrastructure, and the local economy. Please take a few minutes to share your feedback. All responses are anonymous unless you choose to share contact information.
