PSO 2025 Energy Sector Workforce Plan - Consultation Survey |
Overview
Powering Skills Organisation (PSO) is the Jobs and Skills Council for the Australian energy, gas and renewables sector.
The mission of PSO is to provide the voice of industry to government. One of the key ways we do this is through the development of an annual Workforce Plan.
PSO is currently working on the 2025 edition of this plan.In preparation for its release later this year, we have been actively engaging with key stakeholders across the sector. A central part of this engagement is the publication of a consultation paper, designed to gather further feedback.
The consultation paper provides a preliminary review of more than 1,300 stakeholder comments already received in 2025 regarding the workforce and skills needs of the energy sector. Its purpose is to deepen engagement with stakeholders by validating these findings, address any knowledge gaps, and gather ideas for potential solutions.
The consultation paper sets out key issues and questions that stakeholders are invited to consider and respond to through this survey. Discussion questions are included throughout the consultation paper and a full list is at Appendix 1 for ease of reference.
Please note stakeholders are not required to answer every question and are welcome to respond to as many or as few as they wish.
All submissions will be treated as confidential and will not be published. You can choose to remain anonymous.
Please do not undertake this survey without first reading the consultation paper.
