Corsham - Town of Culture 2028
Tell us what you think a Town of Culture looks like?

The government has launched a search for the UK's first Town of Culture to celebrate the nations' towns and create a lasting cultural legacy. The best small, medium and large town will be selected with the overall winner being named UK Town of Culture and given £3m to deliver a programme of cultural activity in 2028. The two runner-ups will each receive £250,000.

Corsham Town Council is working with Pound Arts, Bath Spa University (which has a campus at Corsham Court), Corsham Library, local businesses and other stakeholders to put a bid together and we want to know what the Corsham community thinks a Town of Culture should look like. That could include dance, theatre, literature, music and art, but it could also be comedy, sport or even gaming, depending on what you think 'culture' is all about.

If Corsham should make the first shortlist then there will be lots more public consultation to come but, for now, please let us know what you want from a Town of Culture by taking part in this short survey. Your answers will help to put an initial plan together for the bid, which needs to be submitted by the end of March.

Thank you.
