Pismo Beach Multimodal Improvements
Introduction
Caltrans District 5 and the San Luis Obispo Council of Governments (SLOCOG) developed this survey tool to empower the public an opportunity to inform which bicycle & pedestrian feature(s) are prioritized in an upcoming grant application package to the California Transportation Commission.
Each of the bicycle and pedestrian connectivity elements that are being considered have been informed and identified by the public, and are listed in the U.S. 101 Santa Maria to San Luis Obispo Comprehensive Multimodal Corridor Plan (https://www.slocog.org/programs/highways-streets-roads/us-highway-101/improving-congestion-and-mobility-101) and support implementation of projects and policies from the City of Pismo Beach's Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan.
The survey is presented in two parts. The first section will ask questions about your mobility needs and the second section will request your feedback on the proposed sidewalk gap and bike lane projects that the project team is considering.
If you have questions about this survey, please contact Madilyn Jacobsen (Madilyn.Jacobsen@dot.ca.gov), Associate Transportation Planner at Caltrans District 5.
