This September, CIMA will be organizing a business mission for 8 companies to BIGSOUND in Brisbane, Australia. CIMA will be holding curated business events during the week in partnership with the Sydney Consulate and the BIGSOUND team and invited Canadian participants will work with our in-market consultant to foster connections within the Australian industry.
This is a great opportunity for businesses to expand their connections with Indo-Pacific countries, gain insight on the market, participate in business events, focus on building their rosters marketability within these markets and more. BIGSOUND is the southern hemisphere’s biggest music industry gathering where some of the world’s most influential tastemakers and music lovers come to discover the future of music over three nights in Brisbane. By day, the industry’s leading players gather at the BIGSOUND conference to grapple with the big issues of the day, changing the future of music with legends like Nick Cave, Mike Shinoda, Amy Taylor, Kelis and more.

ASSISTANCE: Through CanExport funding, Canadian delegates selected for CIMA’s Business Mission will receive partial travel-related support (economy air, ground transportation) and accommodation/per diem expenses for up to 8 applicants.
