Best Ribs in Kalamazoo Area Competition

The Best Ribs in Kalamazoo is Thursday, August 1 at 8:00 p.m. at the Arcadia Creek Festival Place.

The Maple Hill BBQ Bash is a food festival. It's about celebrating Ribs and the dedication of our chefs that create some of the most savory experiences. So, if you think that you have great ribs, let's get them judged by the National Rib Vendors. It's fun, nothing fancy, but a chance for a little input.

The competition is open to the first 12 businesses that want a little competition. Entry is free. You need to provide a slab of ribs in a an unmarked container. We will have tables if you want it to be a heatable element. The event starts at 8 p.m. and we ask that you are on site by 7:45 p.m.

You are welcome to stay and hear the comments by the National Ribers. We have a couple of guest judges as well, who just give their opinions about the ribs too. There is a form that we will share with you - after the event is done.
