RULES FOR APPLYING
Applicants must be a current SYN Member with an up-to-date membership. If you are unsure, please check with Alicia at community@syn.org.au.
All applicants must be interviewed. We cannot consider an applicant for the program if we are unable to conduct an interview.
Applications will only be accepted through Survey Monkey. No applications will be accepted via email.
WRITTEN QUESTIONS
To save you the trouble of clicking through this survey, here are the main questions to the written components of the application:
In 150 words or less, why are you a good candidate for your indicated roles? (If you have indicated more than one role, please write 150 words for each role)
In 100 words or less, tell us about any relevant experience you have from outside SYN (if any).
In 100 words or less, tell us about your previous involvement with SYN (if any). If none, tell us why you joined SYN.
In dot point form, please detail some ideas you have for your positions of interest.
In 150 words or less, explain your goal(s) and why participating in the program will help you get closer to achieving these goal(s). These could be career goals or personal goals.
If you are applying for a scholarship position, you will also have to answer the following question:
In 150 words or less, please detail how the scholarship will assist you to participate in the program.
Please note: You will need a valid volunteer Working with Children check to participate in the 2020 Leadership Team. However, you do not need this at the time of application.
