Background & Goals

Employ Prince George's is soliciting employers to help develop, train, cultivate, and hire Prince George's County's future labor force. Are you and your company interested in joining this effort?

Employ Prince George's is a proud recipient of Blueprint for Maryland's Future funds. Using Blueprint for Maryland's Future funds, and through Employ Prince George's Youth Career Connections in-school youth program, Employ Prince George's has a goal of providing career counseling, career exploration, career pathways planning, and connection to employment to 69,000 students enrolled in 74 middle and high schools within Prince George's County Public Schools.

Employ Prince George's is seeking employers to participate in career days, hire youth for part-time jobs, hire youth participating in summer youth employment programs, hire recent high school graduates, be career exploratory field trip host sites, conduct mock interviews, review resumes, serve as mentors, and more.
