The mission of the Land & Garden Preserve is to share the beauty of historic lands and gardens on Mount Desert Island. We are a nonprofit organization that cares for over 1,400 acres of natural lands around Little Long Pond and Hunters Cliffs, as well as three gardens – Asticou Azalea Garden, Thuya Garden, and the Abby Aldrich Rockefeller Garden.
