Form I: Overview, Team, and Biosafety Information

Every team that participates in the 2018 iGEM InterLab study needs to fill in three forms. This is Form I.

This form is part of your InterLab form submission, and will ask you questions about your team, your chassis organism, and your biosafety practices. Fill this in as best as you can.

If you have any questions or problems filling in this form, please email us at measurement at igem dot org.

Question Title

* 1. Team Name

Please enter your team name below. Please make sure it's the same as your official team name, including any hyphens or other characters.

Question Title

* 2. InterLab Wiki Page

Please provide the direct link to your team's wiki page for the InterLab study. As explained in the InterLab requirements, all teams must have a specific page for the InterLab study on their wiki.

Question Title

* 3. Your team contact email

Please provide one or more email addresses you check regularly so we can easily communicate with your team during and after the iGEM season.

Question Title

* 4. Who conducted the InterLab study on your team?

Please list everyone involved with creating the devices, measuring them, and processing the data. Please indicate which role each person filled.

Question Title

* 5. Who else should be an author for a publication based on this work?

List anyone else who should be credited, e.g., in a publication based on this data.

Question Title

* 6. What chassis will you use?

Please note the cell type you used to conduct the InterLab Study. This year, for the sake of consistency and reproducibility, we are requiring all teams to use E. coli K-12 DH5-alpha. If you do not have access to this strain, you can request streaks of the transformed devices from another team near you, and this can count as a collaboration as long as its appropriately documented on both team's wikis. If you are absolutely unable to obtain the DH5-alpha strain, you may still participate in the InterLab study by contacting the Measurement Committee (measurement at igem dot org) to discuss your situation. Please use the "Other" box to describe your strain if you have made alternative arrangements with the Measurement Committee.

Question Title

* 7. What PPE did you utilize during your experiments (from cloning through to measuring the devices)?

Note any Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) used during this process. This could include gloves, lab coats, long pants, etc.
