VITA Tax Prep at CASH - Empire Justice Center
CASH is now scheduling appointments for our Tax Year 2025 Season! Our first appointments at our main tax site in the Central Library will start on Tuesday, January 27th, 2026, and run until Wednesday, April 15th, 2026!
We are fully booked for March and will ONLY offer 2025 and 2022 in April. If you need to file prior years 2024 or 2023 we can add you to our Summer Waitlist, but we cannot file those in April.
Our partner site at the Thurston Road YMCA is fully booked for the season!
There are still appointments for in-person 2025 returns at our partner site at the Golisano Institute on Wednesdays! (Please note that if you need language access support or are self-employed you must schedule your appointment at the main CASH site - NOT the YMCA or Golisano Institute.)
If you need a bank account, we are excited to announce that M&T Bank will be tabling at the CASH site in the Central Library every Wednesday from 9a-12p and every Thursday from 1-4p during the tax season to help clients open bank accounts! You do not need an appointment to meet with them. These accounts will take a few days to activate, so please plan to stop in at least ONE WEEK prior to your tax prep appointment so the account will be active and ready to receive any refund you may be owed.
