How are Responses Saved?

Example Navigation Buttons

Responses for each page are saved as respondents click the next or previous link and successfully advance to a new page.

When your respondents exit the survey, your results are saved only for those pages that have been saved!   See how this works in the Collectors video tour!

The responses for each page are saved and displayed in the analyze section immediately after respondents click the navigation link in the survey and successfully advance to a new survey page. If the survey cannot advance due to required questions or other validations, the responses do not save.

 Saving Responses

Responses are recorded only when the survey can successfully advance to a new survey page.

What Can I do with a Custom Report?

The reports have the same features as the default summary view: downloading responses, filtering data, browsing responses, and sharing the results link.

With the Custom Report, you can save your settings and filters per report as well as use the Share Results link within the report to provide answers to only specific questions. This also allows you to save Filter configurations under different reports and hide questions in the report before sharing responses.

Troubleshooting Tips

Why Can't I see all of my responses?

Have you applied a Filter?

If you cannot see all of your responses within your survey as listed on your survey page, you may have a filter applied. Once you click [unapply filter] within the green box at the top of your page, you will be able to view all of your responses.

Respondents say they submitted response but it is not there!

Have you checked required questions or question validations?

If your respondents report completing the survey, but you do not see their responses, please make sure they click the [next] button to navigate through the survey or the [done] button to submit the survey instead of the "exit survey " link.

The total response count is greater than the number of submitted responses:
If your response totals report a number greater than your number of respondents, please check to see if you have a "multiple choice multiple answer " question type within your survey design.
How can I view each response?
