How do I cancel my account or the auto-renewal?

We are sorry to see you go, and we are constantly working to add more features that enhance the SurveyMonkey experience. Please let us know how we can improve.

Depending on the type of account you have, there are two options for canceling:

 

Option 1 - Basic (Free) Account: 

Send a request to our email support center. We must cancel this on our end.

 

Option 2 - Professional Subscription:

Click the My Account tab to open the Account Summary page.

  • Click the [Cancel Renewal] button. The page presents the cancellation terms, and then confirms the cancellation date.
  • Your account will remain active until the end of the current billing cycle.

star.gif When the subscription ends, you are limited to the Basic features. You can edit the design, create new surveys, and collect responses. 

NOTE: With a Basic account status you can view the first 100 responses on each survey (even after the subscription cancels). If you want to view all responses past 100, you must maintain a Professional subscription or reactivate later to see them all again. 

 

Step 1:

Click the [My Account] button.

Click the [Account Summary] button on the left side of the page.

 

Step 3:

Click the [Cancel Renewal] button.
