Can I print or save the survey?

The survey saves instantly any time you click the [Save Changes] button while in the Edit Survey mode (e.g. designing a question, editing options, etc.). The next time you log into your account, all current surveys will be stored under that tab.

Professional subscribers can utilize two print features within the system:

  • Print Survey Design: While in the Edit Survey section, save the design to your computer as a PDF. This is handy if you want to print hard copies to take to a meeting, use for a test pilot, or to collect responses offline.
  • Print Response Summary: Request a PDF version of the summary data.

A. Print Survey Design:

Step 2:

Select the print options.

  • Select if you want the Survey title and/or the Page title at the top of every printed page.
  • Choose to print according to page breaks or not.
  • Pick the paper size and to print in either Portrait or Landscape.
  • Click the [Download Printable Survey] button when finished.

You can change the theme of the survey temporarily to the "Print Theme" while in the Edit mode. This prints a clean black and white version.

Printing for Offline Data Collection:

Some users like having a hard copy to preview or test their survey. This way the author can determine if the survey intent and design makes sense to his/her audience. In addition, not all respondents may have computer access, so a paper version is a nice option. Later you can manually enter in these responses.

NOTE - The following will not be present on the PDF:

 *  Logos do not print on the survey design.

 * Drop down menu choices also do not print on the design. Avoid using drop down menu answer choices if you need to print a PDF of the survey!

 * Skip Logic patterns will need to be explained. If a person is to move to a certain section, then you will need to indicate this on the online format in text next to the answer choice or in the Page Description!

B. Print Summary Results:

A_icon.gifThe PDF option is located on the Response Summary page under the [Analyze] icon.
